Schuco Aluminum Spacer Profile – Open Type is a precision-engineered extruded aluminum profile designed for insulating glass unit (IGU) spacer systems. It is used in the assembly of spacer frames between glass panes in double and triple glazing applications. Dorman® Aluminum Spacer Profile – Open Type is manufactured from high-grade 6000 series aluminum alloy using precision extrusion technology to ensure consistent profile geometry and high structural performance. Based on the SC150 drawing, the profile features a nominal width of 15 mm, an overall height of 23 mm, internal width of 9.8 mm, base width of 9.4 mm, bottom opening of 5 mm, wall thickness of 1.1 mm, corner radius of R0.55 mm, and a profile angle of 36.24°. The product is supplied in standard 6-meter lengths with optional custom cutting available. It is delivered in mill-finish condition with optional surface treatments including anodizing, powder coating, sandblasting, and electrophoresis. The profile offers excellent dimensional accuracy, corrosion resistance, mechanical strength, and weather durability, making it suitable for insulating glass unit (IGU) production lines and spacer frame assembly systems.
