Description
SILANDE MF882 Silicone Sealant for IG Units is a two-component, neutral-cure silicone sealant developed for a wide range of insulating glass unit (IGU) applications. It is suitable for windows and doors, vehicles, refrigeration units, and finishing frame edges in curtain wall systems. The sealant provides reliable adhesion, elasticity, and durability to support long-term IGU performance. It is not intended for structural glazing applications unless prior written approval is obtained from the SILANDE QC Department.

SILANDE MF882 provides excellent adhesion to a wide range of compatible substrates, including coated, enamelled, and reflective glass, as well as anodized aluminum, polyester-coated aluminum, and stainless steel. It maintains stable performance across a wide service temperature range of -60°C to +180°C. Its high elasticity, high modulus, and ozone resistance support reliable and durable sealing performance in demanding insulated glass unit (IGU) applications where flexibility, environmental resistance, and long-term seal integrity are required.
