Description

SILANDE Silicone Sealant for IG Units is a two-component, neutral curing silicone sealant developed for a wide range of insulating glass applications. It is suitable for use in windows and doors, vehicles, and refrigeration units, and can also be applied to finish frame edges in curtain wall systems. The product delivers reliable adhesion, elasticity, and durability for long-term IGU performance. It should not be used for structural glazing applications without prior written approval from SILANDE QC Department.

Spec & Technical Data

The sealant provides excellent adhesion to a wide range of substrates, including coated, enamelled, and reflective glass, as well as anodized and polyester-coated aluminum and stainless steel. Its wide temperature resistance range from -60°C to +180°C ensures stable performance under varying environmental conditions. High elasticity, high modulus, and ozone resistance make it suitable for demanding IGU sealing applications where durability and flexibility are required.
