The Bohle TinCheck® BO 5164615 is an innovative, professional measuring device designed to identify the tin bath side of float glass quickly, easily, and reliably. By utilizing the latest LED technology, it eliminates the disadvantages of conventional devices, such as light sensitivity and short lamp service life. The device is handy and portable; simply place it on the glass pane and press the start button for an immediate optical and acoustic result. It is an essential tin side detector for glass processing applications, including glass fusing.
The Bohle TinCheck® provides a highly accurate method for identifying which side of a glass pane was in contact with the tin bath during float glass production. The application of electronic components from the new generation of LEDs enables the TinCheck® to indicate the correct result on its graphic display with just a single measurement. If necessary, the measuring mode can be changed to “user mode,” which displays numerical values for each side of the glass. The side displaying the higher number definitively indicates the tin side, allowing for comparative measurements on special glass types.
Engineered for professional industrial use, the BO 5164615 operates efficiently within a temperature range of 10 °C to 40 °C. This programmable detector is characterized by low energy consumption and a high-durability lamp. It offers three display options for maximum versatility and ease of use in various workshop environments. The blue, compact casing houses a completely portable, battery-operated system that delivers results that remain visible on the display for convenient reading.
