Description
FENZI THIOVER Part B is the catalyst component of the THIOVER two-part polysulphide secondary sealant system used in insulated glass units (IGUs). It is specifically formulated to react with Part A and initiate the curing process, resulting in a durable and flexible seal with excellent adhesion and long-term weather resistance. The solvent-free formulation supports reliable sealing performance in both double- and triple-glazed insulating glass units
Spec & Technical Data
FENZI THIOVER Part B is supplied as a black catalyst and is mixed with Part A at a recommended ratio of 100:10 by volume or 100:9.4 by weight, with a mixing tolerance of ±10%. The mixed sealant provides a pot life of approximately 40–90 minutes and a hardening time of approximately 2–5 hours, depending on environmental conditions. The system provides excellent adhesion to glass, aluminum, stainless steel, and galvanized steel, supporting reliable secondary sealing, long-term durability, and stable performance in insulated glass unit (IGU) applications.
