Description

FENZI THIOVER A+B is a two-component polysulphide secondary sealant system specifically developed for insulated glass units (IGUs). Combining Part A (Base) and Part B (Catalyst), it provides excellent adhesion, flexibility, and long-term weather resistance. The solvent-free formulation ensures reliable secondary sealing performance for both double- and triple-glazed units, helping maintain the structural integrity and durability of insulated glass assemblies throughout their service life.

Spec & Technical Data

FENZI THIOVER A+B consists of an ivory-colored base (Part A) and a black catalyst (Part B), producing an anthracite-colored mixture after blending. The recommended mixing ratio is 100:10 by volume or 100:9.4 by weight, with a mixing tolerance of ±10%. The sealant offers a pot life of approximately 40 to 90 minutes and a hardening time of approximately 2 to 5 hours, depending on ambient conditions. It exhibits excellent adhesion to glass, aluminum, stainless steel, and galvanized steel, with a peel strength of 110 N/25 mm on glass. The cured sealant provides a thermal conductivity of 0.40 W/m·K and is suitable for service temperatures ranging from -40°C to +80°C.
