Dorman® DM-SS7048 Transparent Central-Fin Shower Door Seal for 8 mm Glass
The Dorman® DM-SS7048 Transparent Central-Fin Shower Door Seal clips directly onto the edge of 8 mm frameless glass. Its transparent U-shaped mounting channel incorporates a long flexible fin positioned centrally on the profile to close gaps between the glass and an adjoining wall, floor, fixed glass panel, or door panel. It helps reduce water spray, drafts, dust, noise, and light contact while preserving the clean appearance of frameless glass installations.

Description
The Dorman® DM-SS7048 is a transparent central-fin seal designed for frameless shower doors, shower screens, and glass partitions using 8 mm glass. Its rigid U-shaped channel grips the glass edge mechanically, while the long flexible central fin conforms to the adjoining surface to improve gap coverage. The profile requires no adhesive or glass drilling and can be installed on a vertical or bottom glass edge according to the application. It may be cut to the required length and removed for cleaning or replacement.

The Dorman® DM-SS7048 combines a transparent rigid PVC U-shaped clip-on channel sized for 8 mm glass with a long flexible transparent vinyl fin positioned centrally on the channel. Its standard strip length is 2.2 m. The profile installs directly over the glass edge without adhesive or drilling and can be trimmed to suit the installation. It provides supplementary gap sealing and helps reduce water spray, air movement, dust, noise, and light impact between the glass and an adjoining surface.
